Meet & greet visit with a potential new provider if free. MC Care Connect adds 5% admin fee to the agreed hourly rate to ensure the platform operates well.
Meet & greet visit with any provider are free. This helps you and the provider to decide if you are happy to work together and allows them to understand your support needs.
To book initial and ongoing services, you need to Log in to your profile, select Support Provider, and then ‘book service’; we will direct you to a booking page. The booking needs to be accepted by the provider. Any booking that has been arranged outside our platform is not insured.
Using the MCCC website for booking keeps you and your provider safe. It helps providers track their visits and earnings and also allows them to keep your support plan and visit log up to date.
Booking a provider through the site means that your provider and visit are insured.
You will not be able to claim a visit that was not booked through the MC Care Connect website.
Yes, we check providers qualifications and run a Police check to make sure that they are safe to care for vulnerable people. We interview them and insure them.
Yes, the Providers are self-employed and contracted to work with you. Your relationship is direct with the provider.
You can make arrangements with them about your needs, their service, and hourly rate. When issues arise, you must speak with the provide first to sort them out. MCCC can offer support when the issue cannot be solved directly.
It is strongly recommended that you check their provider ID, references, and qualifications to ensure that you are employing a right provider.

You can set your own hourly rate.
To make sure the platform operates well MC Care Connect will deduct 5% admin fee from the hourly rate you agreed with the client.

Yes, you are required to have your own insurance. MC Care Connect covers third party insurance :Public Labilities, Indemnity Insurance and Group Personal Accident Insurance.
Independent Support Providers are required to have their own ABN and are responsible for the own tax obligation.
Yes, in accordance with NSW Government mandates, you will need a 3 doses of COVID-19 Vaccine to be eligible to use MC Care Connect platform to support your clients. Add a link to ‘COVID-19 Page’
Yes, all Independent Support Providers are required to provide a recent police check.

Yes, all Independent Support Providers require a valid working with children certificate.
